Navy Parachute Team jumps into Pendleton Round-up 2024

PENDLETON, Ore. – The Navy Parachute Team, the “Leap Frogs,” is slated to perform several parachute demonstrations into Pendleton Round-up 2024 Rodeo Arena, September 12 to 14.

The Leap Frogs are the official demonstration team of the United States Navy and are part of the Naval Special Warfare Command. The Leap Frogs are comprised of active-duty Navy SEALs, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians and support personnel.

At the invitation of the Pendleton Round-up organization, the Leap Frogs will be jumping into the rodeo arena and demonstrating freefall and canopy formations.

Additionally, the Leap Frogs will be jumping into Pendleton High School, September 13.

Opportunities for one-on-one interviews with team members may be requested at leapfrogspao@gmail.com

Journalists are invited to cover the following events:

1. Jump Demonstration: Thursday- Saturday, September 12 – 14

Time: 1:00 PM

Location: Pendleton Round-up Arena

* The Navy Parachute Team will be conducting parachute demonstration into the arena. After the demonstration would be the best time for one-on-one interviews with team members at the conclusion of the demonstration.

2. Jump Demonstration: Friday, September 13

Time: 6:30 PM

Location: Pendleton High School

* The Navy Parachute Team will be conducting a parachute demonstration into Pendleton High School athletic field. The evening demonstration would be the best time for one-on-one interviews with team members at the conclusion of the demonstration.
