Sheriff’s Office Asks For Public’s Help To Recover Electric/Pedal Trike Stolen From 101-Year-old

Please reference CCSO Case # 20-009317

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate an electric/pedal trike, stolen from a 101-year-old Clackamas County man.

On Monday, May 4, a Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a mobile-home park on the 7400 block of SE King Road in Clackamas County to take a report of the stolen trike.

The 101-year-old victim told the deputy that he’d noticed his red EWheels EW29 Recreational Scooter (pictured) — an electric- and pedal-powered trike — was missing around 10 a.m. that morning. The chains normally securing the trike to his porch had been cut.

The victim purchased the trike a year and a half ago for $1,624. Photos of the scooter are attached. It’s red with some black highlights.

TIPS SOUGHT: Anyone with information on the stolen trike is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office Tip Line — by phone at 503-723-4949 or by using the online email form at https://www.clackamas.us/sheriff/tip . Please reference CCSO Case # 20-009317.
