Whether it’s to combat feelings of loneliness or just the result of having more free time to invest in caring for a pet, Americans have been turning to puppies for comfort.
Tomorrow is National Dog Day and it’s the perfect time for an article on the surprising results of TOP Data’s new report -a study of the demand for puppy adoption based on data from 500,000 adopted dogs and related Google search traffic volume- that uncovered Oregon’s favorite breeds.

**2022 Oregon’s Favorite Breeds**

#1 Chihuahua
#2 Labrador Retriever
#3 Pit Bull
#4 Mutt
#5 German Shepherd Dog

According to the report, the beginning of 2022 represented a 12% increase in puppy adoption compared to the last two months of 2021. Oregon ranks #2 on the list, these are the most puppy-loving states in America.
