This is the moment we’ve been waiting for this legislative session that started February 1st. Warm up those computers, stretch your wrists and fingers, and get ready to email and call your hearts out. We have multiple bills that we are watching and some fantastic ones that need to be scheduled for a hearing.
The legislative short session in Oregon lasts 4-5 weeks and can not extend beyond March 7th. If a bill is not heard and scheduled for a committee by February 8th, the bill dies.

- Puts a ballot measure in place to give voters the option of amending the Oregon Constitution in order to limit the Governor’s ability to declare an emergency or exercise powers under the declaration of emergency to only those granted by the law and for no more than 30 days.
